Important Players Ruled OUT of Nuggets vs. Pistons

Both teams are missing important players.

The Denver Nuggets and Detroit Pistons both play in a back-to-back tonight, but because of that, both teams are missing some important players.

The Pistons have unexpectedly downgraded Jalen Duren from questionable to out tonight against the Denver Nuggets. This season, Duren is averaging 12.6 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 blocks on 62% shooting. Bojan Bogdanovic has also been ruled out for the Pistons because of a right calf strain. Bogdanovic has not played a game yet this season, but last season he averaged 21.6 points on 49/41/88 shooting.

After missing multiple games due to injury, Jamal Murray has finally started traveling with the Denver Nuggets. Unfortunately, he's still been ruled out for tonight's game against the Pistons due to a right hamstring strain. Nuggets fans should hope that he returns to the team sooner rather than later.

If there was a game the Denver Nuggets absolutely needed to win in this early season, it would be tonight against the Detroit Pistons. Denver has lost 3 of their last 4 games and now goes against the worst team in the league tonight. The Detroit Pistons currently have a record of 2-12 with a losing streak of 11 straight games. They'll likely be desperate against the Nuggets tonight, but Denver has the best player in the league.

The Denver Nuggets and Detroit Pistons face off tonight at 7:00 p.m. EST.
