Tyler Herro has only played in one game throughout all of the NBA Playoffs, despite that, the Miami Heat still found a way to the NBA Finals. He's an incredibly important piece for the Heat, and it looks like he's expected to return against the Denver Nuggets.

According to a report from Chris Haynes, Tyler Herro is ramping up workouts with his broken hand and is expected to make a return during the NBA Finals, with Game 3 being the expectation.

Herro was the Sixth Man of the Year last season and is currently averaging 20 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists on 44/38/93 shooting. Even though missing Herro is a big deal for the Heat, they've found some gems in both Gabe Vincent and Caleb Martin.

Caleb Martin was only averaging 9.6 points on 46/36/80 shooting this season. In Herro's absence during the playoffs, he's ramped it up to 14.1 points on 57/44/82 shooting. Martin seldomly takes poor shots and has always played within the offense of the Miami Heat. If Tyler Herro does return to the Miami Heat this season, then the Heat need to figure out a way to keep Martin just as involved in the offense, especially since it brought them to the NBA Finals.

The Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat face off in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday, June 1 at 8:30 PM ET.
