Injury Report: Denver Nuggets vs Oklahoma City Thunder

The battle of the heavyweights will miss some major players.

The Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder face off tonight in a battle of the heavyweights, but unfortunately, there's going to be a massive name missing from the game.

The Nuggets have five players listed on their injury report: Nikola Jokic, Vlatko Cancar, Jalen Pickett, Julian Strawther, and Hunter Tyson. Nikola Jokic is out due to low back pain, Vlatko Cancar is out due to left knee surgery, Jalen Pickett is out due to a G League assignment, Julian Strawther is out due to a right knee contusion/sprain, and Hunter Tyson is out due to a G League assignment. Missing Nikola Jokic will be more than a massive blow for the Denver Nuggets.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have five players listed on their injury report: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lugentz Dort, Chet Holmgren, Isaiah Joe, and Jalen Williams. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lugentz Dort, and Chet Holmgren are all listed on the injury report, but they're all listed as available. Isaiah Joe is out due to a sternum contusion, and Jalen Williams is out due to a right ankle sprain. Based on the injury report, assume that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will be playing tonight against the Nuggets.

The Nuggets are currently only half a game ahead of the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the winner of tonight's game will get the second seed. In all likelihood, it's going to be a massive game for playoff seeding as well.

The Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder face off at 8:00 p.m. EST tonight.
