Injury Report: Denver Nuggets vs Cleveland Cavaliers

Both teams will be missing important players.

The Denver Nuggets and Cleveland Cavaliers face off tonight in a game that's going to be missing some very exciting guard play.

Denver only has two players listed on their injury report: Vlatko Cancar and Jamal Murray. Vlatko Cancar is out with left knee surgery and Jamal Murray is out with a right hamstring strain.

The Cleveland Cavaliers unfortunately have six players listed on their injury report: Ty Jerome, Caris LeVert, Donovan Mitchell, Isaiah Mobley, Isaac Okoro, and Ricky Rubio. Ty Jerome is out with a right ankle sprain, Caris LeVert is questionable with left knee soreness, Donovan Mitchell is out with a right hamstring strain, Isaiah Mobley is out on a G League two-way, Isaac Okoro is out with injury management on his left knee, and Ricky Rubio is not with the team.

It would have been very fun to see Jamal Murray face off against Donovan Mitchell again after their epic playoff battle years ago, but unfortunately, injuries robbed that tonight. The Denver Nuggets have seen a bit of slippage recently, losing two out of the last three games, so they really need to take advantage of the Cavaliers without Mitchell. Conversely, the Cavaliers have started to find their groove with a two-game winning streak after struggling earlier in the year.

The Denver Nuggets and Cleveland Cavaliers face off tonight at 6:00 p.m. EST.
