As soon as Jokic finished his media session during the 2024 NBA All-Star game, he found Luka Doncic and poured water on his head during Luka's session. These are the types of moments that these two share with each other, and show why they're such good friends.
For the last few years, NBA fans have been fantasy-pairing Luka Doncic with Nikola Jokic. It somehow always starts in the rumor mills as well, whenever their teams start struggling. It remains to be seen whether or not these two superstars actually ever team up with each other, but it certainly doesn't seem like a stretch for it to happen down the line of their careers. Right now though, both Luka Donic and Nikola Jokic are good enough to win on their own and should explore that path for as long as they can until their 30s.
Surprisingly, Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic have never faced each other in the NBA Playoffs either. This year could be the first time it happens, and it'll be some of the most fun in the league.
