With his second triple-double of the NBA Finals, Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic became the 7th player in NBA history to record multiple triple-doubles in a single NBA Finals series. With his triple-double in Game 3, Jokic joined a list that includes only LeBron James, Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Butler.

No player in NBA history has ever recorded more than two triple-doubles in an NBA Finals series, which Jokic now sits just one triple-double away from doing. It has been a postseason run filled with record-breaking performances from Jokic, and this latest achievement was as impressive as any of them.

Along with this exclusive list, Jokic also became the first player in NBA history with at least 30 PTS, 20 REB, and 10 AST in an NBA Finals game. With the individually historic night for Jokic, he and his team picked up a much needed Game 3 victory to regain the home court advantage they lost in Game 2. Winning on the road is always hard, especially in the NBA Finals, but Denver did incredibly well to answer their Game 2 loss with a massive road win in Game 3.

The Nuggets are now two wins away from being crowned NBA champions for the first time in their history, which would likely also result in Jokic receiving his first Finals MVP award.
