Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic continues to reach new heights. After winning his first championship and Finals MVP award last postseason, Jokic has turned in another MVP-caliber season this year, and could very well win the award.

Facing the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night, Jokic finished with 32 points, 16 assists, 16 rebounds, and 4 steals, joining Magic Johnson as the only two players in NBA history with at least 30/15/15/4 in a game (per Basketball Reference's StatHead). With a final line of 32/16/16/4, Jokic became the first player in NBA history to record this line or better since the NBA began tracking such data.

It seems to be every night that Jokic finds a way to make NBA history. Rapidly climbing up the NBA's all-time triple-double list, Jokic is nearly averaging one on the season. Entering this game vs. the Warriors, Jokic was averaging 26.0 PPG, 12.2 RPG, and 9.1 APG. Those averages have all gone up with this showing, as Jokic has seemingly gotten better as the season has gone on.

There is nobody in the NBA who can do what Jokic is doing right now, which is why he is the consensus best player in the world. Few push back against that label, especially after Jokic became the first player in NBA history to lead an entire playoff run in total points, rebounds, and assists.

Carrying that postseason dominance over to this season, Jokic has been every bit of the player he was during that run, and hopes to lead his team to consecutive titles.
