Despite being in separate conferences, the Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets always have some of the most highly anticipated matchups. This is primarily due to the big man battle between Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid, which should be getting another exciting chapter on Saturday.

Both teams have released their injury reports for this game, and the 76ers do not have Embiid listed, meaning he is available to play. The Nuggets have Jokic listed as probable on their injury report. Jokic took a poke to the eye in Denver’s last game against the New York Knicks, which is why he is on the injury report, but the probable listing means he is expected to play.

As previously mentioned, the battle between Jokic and Embiid is one of the best in basketball right now, as the two dominant centers are arguably the two best players in the game right.

The Nuggets enter this game as the fourth seed in the Western Conference, but they are just percentage points behind the LA Clippers for the third seed. While Denver has two more wins than the Clippers do, they have one more loss, which has them percentage points behind LA in the standings.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and OKC Thunder remain atop the Western Conference, but Denver has been applying pressure all season long. As for Philadelphia, they are the third seed in the Eastern Conference, just one game behind the Milwaukee Bucks for the second seed.
