The Denver Nuggets are hosting the LA Clippers in an in-season tournament matchup on Tuesday night, and they will have superstar center Nikola Jokic available. Denver has released their injury report for this game, and Jokic is not listed, meaning he is good to go.

The Nuggets have dominated the Clippers over the last several seasons, winning 10 of their 14 matchups against LA since Kawhi Leonard and Paul George joined in 2019. Jokic has been especially dominant in these games, averaging 24.8 PPG, 12.3 RPG, and 7.8 APG on 54.9% from the field.

The Clippers have never had an answer for Jokic, much like every other team in the league, and they have even more of a challenge against him in this one, given the current state of their roster. With Mason Plumlee sidelined for the next several weeks with a knee sprain, the Clippers do not have a traditional backup center on their standard roster right now.

Second-year center Moussa Diabate has shown flashes of ability at the NBA level, but his skillset is more suited for switching onto the perimeter at this point in his career, as his frame is not yet ready to guard stronger centers like Jokic. PJ Tucker has seen backup center minutes since coming to LA in the James Harden trade, but at 6'5" and 38 years old, he is also not a great option on Jokic.

The Clippers will look to find a way against the reigning Finals MVP in this one.
