Indiana Pacers announce first 2023 pre-NBA Draft workout on May 12

The Pacers will have a 2023 draft pick within the top-11

With the NBA Draft Lottery in less than one week and the NBA Draft Combine just a few days away, the Indiana Pacers are bringing in a group of prospects for a pre-draft workout on Friday.

It's their first announced draft workout of the 2023 NBA Draft cycle. It will feature six players, like most Pacers workouts have in the past. Indiana announced the workout on Thursday.

The half-dozen prospects that will work out for Indiana on May 12 are:

  • Kobe Brown, Missouri
  • Andre Jackson Jr, Connecticut
  • Jaime Jaquez, UCLA
  • Arthur Kaluma, Creighton
  • Liutauras Lelevicius, Zalgiris II
  • Grant Nelson, North Dakota State

The Pacers hold five picks in the 2023 NBA Draft, though only three of them are set in slot. The other two won't be known until the NBA Draft lottery is complete on Tuesday. There is a chance that Indiana could end up with the number one overall pick.

The Indiana Pacers are early in their rebuild but are hoping to reach the postseason next year. They are likely to have a busy offseason, and that starts with the draft on June 22.
