Indiana Pacers announce pre-draft workout on June 5 featuring IU forward Trayce Jackson-Davis

The Pacers are now at a half-dozen draft workouts

The Indiana Pacers will host another pre-draft workout on Monday, June 5 featuring six potential draftees.

This group features a strong prospect with local ties in Indiana Hoosiers forward Trayce Jackson-Davis. Jackson-Davis biological father, Dale Davis, played for the Pacers for 10 seasons, including Indiana's lone trip to the NBA Finals in 1999-00. Jackson-Davis grew up near downtown Indianapolis and was a McDonald's All-American.

The forward then went on to play at IU for four seasons, averaging 20.9 points and 10.8 rebounds per game in his final year with the Hoosiers. ESPN has him going 38th overall to the Sacramento Kings in their most recent mock draft.

Five other players will join Jackson-Davis in the pre-draft workout on Monday. Here is the full list:

  • Emmanuel Akot, Western Kentucky
  • Tyree Appleby, Wake Forest
  • Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana
  • Chris Livingston, Kentucky
  • Terquavion Smith,NC State
  • Azuolas Tubelis, Arizona

Smith was impressive at the NBA Draft Combine and is 41st in ESPN's latest mock. Livingston is 56th (the Pacers own pick 55).

This is the sixth workout of the pre-draft process for the blue and gold. They have five draft picks in the 2023 draft and are doing their research on a number of players.
