Indiana Pacers to bring in Washington State forward Mouhamed Gueye for an individual workout

Gueye will perform the fourth solo workout for the Pacers this draft cycle

The Indiana Pacers are hosting their 11th pre-draft workout, and fourth individual workout, today.

On June 9, Washington State Cougars forward Mouhamed Gueye will show off his skills in front of Pacers executives and scouts. He sits in 46th on ESPN's latest mock draft.

Gueye moved to the United States at age 16 for basketball, where he then played at Prolific Prep Academy in California. He was born in Senegal, where he played soccer as well.

Now, the 20-year old is NBA bound. He spent two seasons with Washington state, and as a true sophomore he averaged 14.3 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. He shot 48.8% from the field.

Gueye balances athleticism and power with his interior play. He is threatening around the rim and a beast on the offensive glass. But his jump shot needs work, and he will need to bulk up in the NBA.

He could be a shot blocking presence on defense with his physical tools, but he may struggle in post situations, and that could matter as a four-five hybrid. In a one-on-one workout, Gueye will have a ton of eyes on him to prove to the Pacers that he can shoot, defend, and hold his own against NBA talent.

The NBA Draft is now under two weeks away. The Pacers have five picks spread out all over the draft, so they are doing their homework before June 22.
