Two draft prospects to work out for the Indiana Pacers on June 10

Indiana has worked out nearly 50 players ahead of the 2023 NBA Draft

The Indiana Pacers will bring in two more prospects for a pre-draft workout later today.

Per the team, Rayan Rupert of the New Zealand Breakers and Mojave King of the G League Ignite will perform together in front of team scouts, executives, and players. It will be the Pacers' seventh announced workout of this week.

Since Indiana has so many picks that are spread across the entire draft, getting their eyeballs on as many players as possible is the best move. With 12 days until the draft, they are continuing to evaluate the available talent.

"The very top of it is obviously impactful. When you get to the next tier, you're looking at some really talented guys. But you're also looking at youth," Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said of the 2023 prospect class.

In ESPN's latest mock draft, Rupert is projected to go 19th overall to the Golden State Warriors. The French guard/wing hybrid is a terrific defensive prospect with a long wingspan, and Indiana needs defense on the wing.

King, meanwhile, is not listed among the 58 picks in the ESPN mock draft. He averaged 9.4 points per game in 48 appearances for the Ignite this past season, and he proved to be a solid rebounder for his size. He had eight points in the G League Next Up game at All-Star weekend.

The Pacers have nearly worked out 50 players ahead of the 2023 draft and will be prepared when June 22 rolls around. They are searching for size and defense on the perimeter this offseason.
