Pelicans Coach Addresses Zion's Health and Windmill Dunk

Pelicans head coach Willie Green answered questions regarding Zion Williamson and his "Monster Windmill Dunk" video posted on Tuesday evening.

After Wednesday's practice, Pelicans head coach Willie Green answered media's questions regarding Zion Williamson and his "Monster Windmill Dunk" video posted on Tuesday evening.

Green said, "he's progressing." The report should delight Pelicans and Zion fans. "In terms of his rehabilitation, he can get on the floor, and you play a lot of one-on-one, which he's doing with the controlled environment. As far as the jumping in the dunking, you can do a little bit of that. You still have to be careful of how much he does," Green told reporters.

Coach Green also mentioned, "to see him being able to get on the floor and play one-on-one was today was a start."

He hesitated to the question if Zion could play again this season. "We don't know. As far as right now. The update is the update. Z [Zion] is still out indefinitely. He's still working towards being fully healthy, which he's not. But he's getting there, and we'll update you guys as we get to that point. If we get to that point."

Zion's dunk had many fans and media buzzing about his health. Most asked if he could dunk, why isn't he playing?

Take a look at Zion working out with player development coach Corey Brewer:

"It's been a long recovery for him. Not a windmill [dunk], may have been a little too much. I'm sure fans and people that support us, support Z is excited to see him even do the things that he does," Green jokingly shared with media.
