The Hawks had too much firepower and dominated the Pistons on nearly every front. Though the Pistons were hanging around through three quarters, things got out of hand once Cade entered foul trouble and needed to be subbed out. Regardless of the result, this night was memorable for #2 and Pistons fans across the nation.

Career Night For Cade Cunningham

Simply put, Teal Cade is a different animal. The second-year guard was unstoppable and toyed with the Hawks' defenders all night in the re-debut of the nostalgic teal jerseys. He put up 35 points effortlessly without connecting on a single three-point attempt. This scoring clinic broke his previous historic career-high of 34 points in his rookie season - which drew comparisons to Michael Jordan. He affected nearly every component of the game, posting up 8 assists, grabbing 9 boards, and playing impeccable defense. Despite numerous questionable fouls, which hindered his ability to stay in the game, he was the freak of nature that fans eagerly anticipated from Year 2 Cade.

His Luka Doncic comparisons came to fruition as his game displayed shades of Luka's crafty footwork, poise, and patience at full pace. The game seemed to have slowed down tremendously for Cade, and as a result, he was ripping the net from all around the post and midrange. Cunningham's performance in this matchup was one to remember - undoubtedly a showcase of Cade playing at the highest level of basketball fans have witnessed thus far. He will bring respect to the D, and tonight was a reminder that he is the answer for the Motor City.
