Saddiq Bey Makes Pistons History

Second-year standout Saddiq Bey etched his name into the Pistons history books last night.

As of last night, Saddiq Bey is the new Pistons franchise leader for single-season three pointers made after passing the great Allan Houston

Bey set the record midway through the fourth quarter during Detroit's rout of the Atlanta Hawks. It wasn't Bey's biggest performance — just last week he exploded for 51 points with 10 made three-pointers — as he finished with 10 points, four boards and four assists, but it was enough to help Detroit win by 21 over a talented and potentially playoff-bound Hawks team.

Bey is now at the top of the single-season three-pointers made list and he still has nine games left on this year's schedule. If he sticks to his 2.6 three-pointers made per game, he'll finish the season with somewhere around 220 made treys. He'll get his first crack at adding to his total tomorrow against the Wizards.
