The O.G. Anunoby sweepstakes are about to heat up.

There are expected to be six or seven teams interested in the Toronto Raptors forward should he be made available ahead of next Thursday's trade deadline, ESPN's Brian Windhorst said on NBA Today. Those teams are believed to have "significant offers" lined up to pry loose the 25-year-old Anunoby.

"Everyone is keeping an eye on O.G. Anunoby," Windhorst added on ESPN.

Toronto is reportedly gauging interest in Anunoby from multiple teams including the New York Knicks, Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Pelicans, and Memphis Grizzlies, according to various reports. It's unclear who else may be interested in Anunoby, though his elite defense and transferrable offensive fit make him among the most attractive trade candidates on the market this week.

Anunoby, however, is currently out with a left wrist sprain that's expected to keep him sidelined through at least this weekend. Toronto does have one more game at home before the trade deadline but it's possible the former first-round pick of the Raptors has played his final game for the organization.

Toronto is expected to wait until it returns home from its lengthy West Coast road trip before finalizing any decisions for the deadline.

Gary Trent Jr. and Fred VanVleet have also generated buzz as possible trade candidates ahead of the Feb. 9 trade deadline.
