The Toronto Raptors aren’t getting any healthier.

Scottie Barnes, Jakob Poeltl, Chris Boucher, and DJ Carton have all been ruled out for Friday night against the Orlando Magic with a variety of injuries, Toronto announced. Gary Trent Jr. remains questionable with a right groin strain that has now kept him sidelined for the last two games.

RJ Barrett, meanwhile, will remain sidelined for personal reasons for the second straight game.

Barnes, Poeltl, and Boucher all remain without a timeline to return this season.

It’ll likely make for another rough night for the Raptors who are scheduled take on a Magic team at full strength. Orlando has won seven of their last 10 games and is closing in on the New York Knicks for the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Toronto, conversely, has lost five straight games and sits just a half game back of the Memphis Grizzlies for the sixth-worst record in the NBA. Losing Friday would pull the Raptors even with Memphis, putting Toronto in position to potentially have a 46% chance to keep its first-round pick this year.

Expect Toronto to rely on Jalen McDaniels, Jordan Nwora, and Jontay Porter as the Raptors continue to dive deep into the bench for rotation players.

Jahmi'us Ramsey’s 10-day contract will come to an end Thursday night meaning Toronto will have to re-sign the 22-year-old guard if the organization wants to keep him around moving forward. He’s eligible for a second 10-day contract after which the Raptors would have to sign him to a standard deal for the season.
