Rockets End Nine-Game Road Losing Streak in Victory Over Suns

Jalen Green recorded his second consecutive 34-point performance, which led to the Houston Rockets breaking their nine-game road losing streak.

Jalen Green had another impressive performance against the Phoenix Suns. He finished the game with his second consecutive 34-point outing. But this time, the Houston Rockets were able to come away with a victory amid a 118-109 win over the Suns inside the Footprint Center Saturday night.

Green shot 12 of 23 from the field, 6 of 12 from behind the arc, marking one of his most efficient games of the 2023-24 season. In Addition to his scoring, Green added nine rebounds and four assists in the win.

The Rockets ended a three-game losing skid with a victory against the Suns. However, they also ended a nine-game road losing streak.

Houston's last road victory came on Jan. 26 in a 138-104 win over the Charlotte Hornets. Green scored a season-high 36 points on 12 of 20 shooting inside the Spectrum Center. With the victory, the Rockets and Suns split their four-game regular-season series 2-2.

All five starters scored in double figures against the Suns. Fred VanVleet added 24 points, 11 assists and five rebounds in the win, while Alperen Sengun added 21 points and 10 rebounds. 

Jabari Smith Jr. recorded 14 points and five rebounds. Dillon Brooks added 11 points and six rebounds in the win.

Kevin Durant led the Suns with 30 points on 12 of 19 shooting. He also added nine rebounds in the loss. Devin Booker added 24 points, five rebounds and five assists in 38 minutes. Booker's night came to an early end due to an ankle injury.
