The San Antonio Spurs are back in the loss column after a 132-119 defeat at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night at the Fiserv Forum.

The Spurs couldn't withstand the avalanche that came at the beginning of the game ... a 21-3 run that wiped San Antonio out of the game before it began.

"Other than the start of the game where we looked like a deer in headlights, we weren't aggressive at all," coach Gregg Popovich said. "They (Bucks) came at us with such a barrage offensively making shots that I think we got down. But after that, I thought we played a pretty good game. Keldon (Johnson) obviously got aggressive."

In most losses this season, the Spurs operate in the opposite way. San Antonio usually takes an early lead before giving it back to its opponent. However, the team was stuck in quicksand at the start and was never able to truly recover.

"I think we were just asleep for probably the first four minutes," Zach Collins said. "It didn't help that we couldn't hit a shot but I think our mindset just from the jump wasn't good. We have to be more professional. Start games better because we played pretty well the rest of the way. That hurts when all we had to do was start a little bit better. Be more aggressive."

The Spurs will have a chance to get their aggression out tomorrow night against the Chicago Bulls. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT.
