Chris Paul Out vs. Heat

Phoenix Suns PG Chris Paul will not play against the Miami Heat, as he still deals with right heel soreness.

The Phoenix Suns will once again be without point guard Chris Paul, as the team confirmed he would be out for Monday's meeting with the Miami Heat due to right heel soreness.

Cam Johnson (knee) and Landry Shamet (concussion protocol) are also out as well.

Paul initially left last Monday's loss to the Philadelphia 76ers in the early portion of the second quarter and didn't return. He missed Phoenix's victory over Minnesota on Wednesday and also their loss to the Orlando Magic on Friday.

The Suns have gone 1-2 on their road trip and hope to get back to .500 in that regard before returning home to face the Golden State Warriors

Cameron Payne will get the nod again, scoring 22 and 23 points in his last two starts at point guard.

The Suns hope to stop Miami's two-game winning streak. Opening tip is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Arizona time.
