Jamal Crawford Praises Jimmy Butler's Block on Devin Booker to Seal Win

Jamal Crawford talks about Jimmy Butler's timing on the block on Devin Booker. Jimmy jumped after Booker did.

The Phoenix Suns fall to the Miami Heat on Monday night 113 to 112. Devin Booker attempted a game-winning shot in the game's closing seconds, but Jimmy Butler blocked it.

After the game, Butler was asked about the block on Booker.

“Just a basketball play. I got lucky not to foul and blocked the shot. He made a couple of tough ones beforehand, but I knew I had to get my hand up on one of them. Got the block and won the game," said Butler.

“I love that we won the game on the defensive end.”

During the Suns and Heat highlights on NBA TV, former Suns guard Jamal Crawford reacted to Butler's defense late in Monday's game.

“Look he jumped after Book did. Great timing, unbelievable [and] most guys are running from that situation on the defensive end. Jimmy embraced it.”

Devin Booker finished with 25 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. After the loss to the Heat, the suns fall to 8-5 on the young season. As for Jimmy Butler finished with 16 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists.
