Bucks Will Get Key Starter Back vs Suns

The Milwaukee Bucks are set to get Khris Middleton back against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday.

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns will see the Milwaukee Bucks gain a starter back in the lineup when the two sides meet on Sunday.

According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski: "Milwaukee Bucks F Khris Middleton (ankle) plans to make his return to the lineup vs. the Phoenix Suns Sunday on ABC, he told reporters today."

More from NumberFire:

"Middleton has been sidelined since early February with an ankle injury. Now, however, it seems as though he'll be ready to return to the court. It's likely the veteran will see some sort of minutes restriction in his first game back. In any case, expect Middleton's return to cut into Jae Crowder's playing time."

Middleton has missed 16 consecutive games since spraining his ankle against the Suns on Feb. 6.

Now, over a month later, he's set to make his return as Milwaukee plays host to Phoenix in a nationally televised contest on ABC with a 10:00 AM Arizona time tip.

Middleton is averaging 14.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists per night when he does play. Milwaukee is currently 9.5 games back from the East's No. 1 seed under Doc Rivers.

As for the Suns, they still cling to the No. 7 seed out West with a 39-28 record. Sunday will mark the fourth and final game of their road trip.
