Suns Reveal Starters vs Pelicans

The Phoenix Suns revealed their starting lineup against the New Orleans Pelicans.

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns are close to beginning a big road test against the New Orleans Pelicans - here's their starting five:

Devin Booker
Bradley Beal
Grayson Allen
Kevin Durant
Jusuf Nurkic

When Phoenix's big three has been healthy, this is the standard lineup utilized by Suns coach Frank Vogel. They've won their last three in a row/eight-of-11 heading into tonight with a slim injury report, as only Bol Bol and Damion Lee are out.

Though this is the starting lineup tonight, Vogel may have just unlocked a potential new lineup that featured a small-ball look with Durant playing center and Eric Gordon added as a fourth guard.

This lineup propelled Phoenix to their 20-point comeback win against the Sacramento Kings earlier this week.

"I think the coaching staff made good adjustments - we were definitely dead in the water. They were scoring at will and it was kind of hard to figure out how we were going to get stops," Durant said following the victory, which ended with Phoenix on a 32-8 run.

"I think coach made some good adjustments there with the lineups but also the scheme we were playing. We were able to excel in that and get a win."

We’ll see if Vogel opts for the lineup against New Orleans, who presents one of the more physical lineups in the league.

The Pelicans themselves have won their last eight-of-eleven entering tonight.

Suns-Pelicans will tip just past 6:00 PM Arizona time.
