If the Phoenix Suns are going to go on a revenge tour, there’s no better start than the very team who knocked them out in the second round of the western conference playoffs.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports the Suns will host the Dallas Mavericks on Oct. 19 to begin the season.

This is the second confirmed game for the Suns, who will be playing at the Denver Nuggets on Christmas.

The Suns and Mavericks retain much of the same rosters that saw an entertaining seven-game series, although there are some notable changes.

Jalen Brunson departed Dallas for a pleasant paycheck with the New York Knicks, and JaVale McGee left Phoenix to, funny enough, join Dallas.

The entire 2022-23 NBA schedule has yet to be released, but we now know who and where the Suns will be beginning their next campaign.
