Is Anthony Edwards going to be fully healthy for Game 1?

Edwards admitted that he was dealing with an illness on Wednesday.

A potential complicating factor for Game 1 Saturday between the Timberwolves and Suns is the health of Anthony Edwards.

Edwards is not dealing with an injury, but during a media session Wednesday he was clearly battling some sort of congestion. Edwards spoke for about six minutes, clearly fighting off something that had him plugged up and a bit hoarse.

Asked if he's feeling under the weather he answered, "Yeah, for sure, but I'll be alright."

Edwards, who averaged just 14.3 points in three games against the Suns during the regular season, has a couple of days to get back to full strength before Game 1 tips off at 2:30 p.m. CT at Target Center in Minneapolis.
