Mike Conley, Anthony Edwards, Naz Reid fuel Wolves win in Utah

Conley, Edwards and Reid were a combined 14 of 26 from 3.

Mike Conley's return to Utah went about as well as he could've hoped. He was honored with a video on the big screen over center court before the game and then he scored 25 points to help Minnesota beat the Jazz 119-100 Saturday night.

It wasn't just Conley stepping up for his homecoming. The Wolves needed another weapon with Karl-Anthony Towns (meniscus) and Rudy Gobert (rib sprain) both out of the lineup with injuries.

Conley was super efficient, hitting 8-of-12 shots including five 3-pointers.

Anthony Edwards scored 31 points to go along with 10 rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks. Naz Reid, who got the start at center, finished with 22 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals.

Conley, Edwards and Reid were a combined 14 of 26 from 3.

The Timberwolves (46-21) are in third place in the Western Conference but only one game behind the Oklahoma City Thunder (47-20) and Denver Nuggets (47-20), who are tied atop the conference standings.

Minnesota will hang out in Salt Lake City on Sunday before playing the Jazz again on Monday night. That will then set the stage for a huge game Tuesday night in Minneapolis between the Wolves and Nuggets.
