Anthony Davis' Injury Status for Lakers vs Warriors Game 1 Revealed

Anthony Davis will be one of the x-factors in this series.

In almost every Lakers playoff series, Anthony Davis will be one of the main x-factors in the matchup. That statement remains the same against the Golden State Warriors.

The Los Angeles Lakers have officially listed Anthony Davis as probable against the Golden State Warriors with a right foot stress injury. It's worth noting that Davis has not been affected by this foot injury at all, and was playing through a hip injury against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Lakers have listed both Anthony Davis and LeBron James as probable in nearly every playoff game, and they've played in every single game.

Anthony Davis is currently averaging 20.8 points, 13.7 rebounds, and 4.3 blocks on 49/33/83 shooting. While his points per game have reduced in the playoffs, his blocks per game have tremendously increased.

While Draymond Green came off the bench against the Sacramento Kings in the last playoff series, he's going to be incredibly important against the Lakers. Both Draymond Green and Kevon Looney will be huge factors in stopping Anthony Davis and the Lakers. The Warriors duo will have to limit Davis on the boards and limit any second-chance points. The Lakers have enough firepower now with D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, LeBron James, and Rui Hachimura to make teams pay if they grab any offensive rebounds.

The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers face off at 10:00 pm ET tonight.
