Steph Curry Reacts to Draymond Green Stomping on Domantas Sabonis

Steph weighed in after the Golden State Warriors fell to the Sacramento Kings in Game 2

While the Sacramento Kings took a commanding 2-0 lead over the Golden State Warriors on Monday night, most of the discussion following that big game was about Draymond Green stomping on Domantis Sabonis. Green was ejected for the play, but is not expected to be suspended. Several players shared their thoughts on the play after the game, including Warriors point guard Steph Curry.

"I didn't see it happen live," Curry said. "I grabbed the rebound and was headed down the other way. I know he grabbed his foot. I don't what you're supposed to do in that situation. [Sabonis] obviously finished the rest of the game, so I know he's a tough guy, but I'm sure he's gonna be alright."

It was certainly a strange play on all sides, and everybody seems to have a different opinion on it. The Warriors are unsurprisingly standing with Draymond, while the Kings are unsurprisingly standing with Sabonis. The officials sorted things out, and decided on an ejection for Green, and a technical for Sabonis. As for any additional punishment, that has yet to be officially determined.

While this play has been the primary topic of conversation over the last day, the Warriors are facing an 0-2 deficit for the first time in the Steph Curry era, which is something they will have to overcome if they want to defend their title.
