Anthony Davis Suffers Injury During Lakers vs Warriors

Anthony Davis looked like he was in tremendous pain.

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a huge scare during Saturday night's game against the Golden State Warriors. Anthony Davis took a shot to the groin during the third quarter that left him on the floor in tremendous pain and had him go back to the locker room.

After Davis was sent back to the locker room, he missed a big portion of the third quarter, where those in attendance thought he might not return. Fortunately for the Lakers, Davis ultimately returned during the fourth quarter around the 9:05 mark.

If there's one team that could understand the plight of the Los Angeles Lakers this season, it's the Golden State Warriors. Both teams have seen their best players be healthy all season, but for some reason haven't been able to string solid wins together. Both teams are relatively close in the standings as well, with the Warriors being only two games behind the Lakers in the standings.

In all likelihood, there's a great chance that the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers face off in the play-in tournament, in what would be a very dramatic game. Hopefully, if it does come to that, both teams will be healthy and deliver a game that fans will remember.

The next time the Golden State Warriors face off against the Los Angeles Lakers will be February 22.
