Chris Paul Reacts to Adam Silver's Comments About Scott Foster Beef

The Golden State Warriors guard has not heard from the NBA

NBA commissioner Adam Silver recently addressed the Chris Paul vs. Scott Foster beef on SiriusXM NBA Radio, saying the following:

“You have there two veterans who are the best at what they do. Scott is one of the most respected and highest rated NBA officials, which is why he referees in our Finals games. Of course Chris, his track record speaks for itself. The way you handle that, at least the way we've tried to handle that, is talk to both of them and say that the expectation is that you are going to be professional and deal privately with the two of them. Just say, 'Whatever the bad blood is between you two, you don’t have to be friends, but you have to both go out and do your jobs.' That's my expectation going forward."

When asked about these comments, Paul said there have not been any discussions between himself and Silver since the latest incident with Foster.

“He said he talked to us? Nah, ain’t nobody called me since all that happened,” Paul said. “Sometimes they'll call, interview, ain’t nobody called, texted, nothing… I haven’t talked to Adam, Byron, nobody. I talked to Byron, but I had to call him, no one called me… Ain’t nothing ever changed as far as that... Some years ago, there was a meeting with my dad and all us, but we talk pretty often, so I figured we would talk at some point."

This situation is not a good look for the NBA, and one they will have to do a better job of handling going forward - especially now that Paul has publicly revealed the league has known about the personal element between himself and Foster for a while.
