Spurs Grab 'Huge' Bounce Back Win vs. Warriors
The San Antonio Spurs are back in the win column after a 126-113 victory against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night at the Chase Center.
Fresh off a tough loss on Thursday against the Sacramento Kings in which they surrendered a five-point lead with less than a minute to go, the Spurs put their past behind them and entered their game against the Warriors with a fresh mind.
The mindset was crucial in how they pulled out the win.

"I think that was huge for us," Dom Barlow said after the game. "The game didn’t go how we wanted it to last time. I know our record doesn’t tell the full story but we’re still trying to win and we’re still trying to play competitive basketball. So, any loss like that definitely hurts and it just feels good getting back into the win column.”
The Spurs definitely came to San Francisco hungry after their loss against the Kings. They built a 19-point lead throughout the first half and were able to cruise to the finish line without much strain despite playing without Victor Wembanyama and Devin Vassell.
Playing competitive basketball down the stretch may not help the Spurs' chances at the lottery, but it will instill good habits for the players who remain on the team next season and beyond as they navigate this rebuild.
The Spurs and Warriors will meet on Monday for a rematch at the Frost Bank Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT.
