Draymond Green Slams NBA After Groin Hit

Draymond Green had a controversial reaction to his groin hit.

If there's one NBA player who's always dealing with something controversial, it's Draymond Green.

Yesterday, Green was accidentally hit in the groin by Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen. In some form of ridiculous irony, the kick was identical to how Green kicked Steven Adams in the 2016 NBA Playoffs, which ultimately culminated in Green getting suspended during the NBA Finals.

Fast forward to seven years later in 2023, and Green thinks it's hypocritical that Allen didn't receive the same punishment he did and went on Instagram to voice his displeasure.

"The Draymond Green Rule is only a rule when Draymond Green is delivering... cool," Green said on Instagram.

In all honesty, the fact that Draymond Green still doesn't understand why he's being penalized for his actions is why he should be getting penalized. The reason why Draymond was suspended during the NBA Finals was because he was consistently making dirty plays. Green had hit numerous people in the groin during the playoffs and already had a history prior to that.

It's not a coincidence that the player who was suspended for making dirty plays was also the one who sucker-punched his teammate in the face during practice. At some point, Draymond Green needs to take actual accountability for his actions and realize there's a reason why he's suffering consequences, instead of pointing blame.
