LeBron James' Injury Status for Lakers vs Warriors Game 1 Revealed

Expect LeBron James to play against the Warriors

The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers will easily be the most hyped playoff matchup this season. It's an NBA Finals level of hype for a matchup that's only in the second round. As long as LeBron James and Steph Curry, there will be hype; expect LeBron James to play.

Lebron James is officially listed as probable with right foot soreness for the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron is regularly listed as probable and ends up playing a majority of the time.

There's no chance that LeBron James would miss this matchup against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. It's the first time that LeBron James and Steph Curry are facing off in the NBA Playoffs since the 2018 NBA Finals. Yes, they faced during the play-in tournament in 2021, but that doesn't necessarily count as a playoff matchup.

Steph Curry and LeBron James have faced off in four straight NBA Finals matchups from 2015-2018. Curry has a 3-1 record against LeBron in those matchups, but it's also worth noting that his teams have been significantly more stacked. Tuesday night's playoff matchup will be a far more even-level matchup compared to those previous finals matchups.

The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers face off in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals at 10:00 pm ET.
