49ers put the league on notice with 31-3 victory over Browns

Dominant. Phenomenal. Methodical. Those are just a few words you would use to describe the San Francisco 49ers 31-3 victory over the Cleveland Browns. This wasn't just any victory. The 49ers put the league on notice by outright embarrassing the Browns on Monday Night Football.
All the hype that was given to the Cleveland Browns leading up to the 2019 NFL regular season has been absorbed by the San Francisco 49ers. Any doubt or drawback that was considered about this team during their bye is gone.
From the first play on offense, the tone was set with Matt Breida's 83 yard scamper. Every offensive drive of the 49ers was a clinical one. The same can be said about the defense who made Baker Mayfield's night a living nightmare. On almost every facet of this game the 49ers were perfect.
This was a beat down like no other and was the most complete win for the 49ers so far. They saved their best performance for the masses on primetime. A statement that they are the real deal. That they are aiming for not just a playoff berth, but a division title.
We are now five weeks into the season and it is clear that the San Francisco 49ers are the best team in the NFC west. There is blood in the water in the division with Rams looking vulnerable. Both the 49ers and the Seahawks smell it with their sights set on the crown.
The 49ers currently sit atop the division as the only undefeated team in the league next to the New England Patriots. It just makes next week's game against the Rams in Los Angeles a pivotal one.
They can bury the Rams into a deep hole that will be difficult to climb out of. What looked like a big brother versus little brother matchup prior to the season now looks like an even playing field.
