Mitchell Trubisky will return as starter for the Bears Sunday at Soldier Field against New Orleans according to an NFL Network report. 

The team officially releases its inactive list at about 2 p.m. central time but the NFL Network report confirmed what seemed obvious all week. Trubisky has been away from the field 21 days, since suffering a left shoulder injury against Minnesota Sept. 29.

Trubisky had a similar 21-day absence last season and returned for a 15-6 victory over the Los Angeles Rams, but suffered three interceptions in the game.
