NFL Analyst Weighs in on Popular Cincinnati Bengals Draft Debate

The Bengals have the No. 18 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals have the No. 18 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. They're expected to take an offensive or defensive tackle if the draft plays out like most expect, but is there a scenario where they pass on a trench player to give Joe Burrow another weapon?

NFL Draft expert Daniel Jeremiah believes the Bengals should take Georgia tight end Brock Bowers if he somehow fell to No. 18.

"In terms of the Cincinnati Bengals and everything going perfect for them, where they're picking at 18, obviously the throw a parade scenario if somehow Brock Bowers got down there," Jeremiah said on a conference call. "I don't think it will happen, but everynow and then you get onething that happens and a guy slides down. That would be the home run of all home runs if somehow he navigated his way down to 18."

There's been some debate about Bowers and whether or not the Bengals would take him if he fell. It's worth noting that Dane Brugler called it a "no-brainer" if the Georgia product made it to the 18th pick.

The Bears, Jets, Broncos and Colts are all expected to have interest in Bowers. All four of those teams pick ahead of Cincinnati.

It's unlikely that he'll fall to the Bengals, but if he does, two of the top NFL Draft analysts think it would be an easy decision if he did fall to them in the first round.
