The Cleveland Browns, down 6-0, set to try to respond to the Kansas City Chiefs opening score, ran one play left to running back Nick Chubb for a mild gain and left tackle Jedrick Wills was down on the ground grabbing at his ankle.

After being helped off the field, Wills went to the blue medical tent to be evaluated. He is now headed to the locker room, which is obviously not a good sign for his availability.

Kendall Lamm, who had to play in place of right tackle Jack Conklin last week, steps in to play left tackle this week. Lamm did an admirable job against the Pittsburgh Steelers T.J. Watt and at least fo rthe time being, the Browns need a similar performance against Chiefs.

The Browns were down Joel Bitonio at left guard last week and would lose Conklin during the game. One of the advantages they were hoping they would have against the Chiefs was the offensive line back at full strength. Unfortunately, unless Wills is able to return to the game, they will have had just one play together.

The offensive line has been the most consistent element of the Browns for the entire season and they've been able to muddle through at times with some impressive results. Unfortunately, in the biggest game of the season where they are a decided underdog, they are once again being asked to make it work.

The Browns are saying Jedrick Wills is questionable to return at this point.

UPDATE: The Browns have officially ruled Wills out for the rest of the game.
