The Cleveland Browns are getting prepared to play the New York Jets on Monday Night Football, but Jets head coach Adam Gase confirms the team will be without receiver Quincy Enunwa for the rest of the season due to a neck injury. This likely played into the Jets trade for Demaryius Thomas last night.

When Enunwa has been on the field for the Jets, he's been a reasonably productive receiver. The past two seasons, he's caught 96 passes for 1,306 yards in 27 games with five touchdowns.

The team's offensive weapons at this point are Le'Veon Bell, Jamison Crowder and Robby Anderson, but they will attempt to get Demaryius Thomas up to speed as quickly as possible so he can contribute.

Enunwa is a thick, physical player that throws his body around while Thomas has similar size but hasn't been quite as physical as he was when he started his career.

The Jets face off against the Browns after losing a heartbreaking 17-16 game against the Buffalo Bills and the Browns were humiliated at home by the Tennessee Titans, so both teams need to get a win as their schedules ramp up after this matchup. The Browns have to play the Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Ravens while the Jets have to play the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles. A loss here might have either team digging a hole they won't be able to escape.
