Cleveland Browns backup nose Daniel Ekuale has been diagnosed with a concussion that occurred during the game against the Seattle Seahawks. The Browns are about to be on their bye week, so it's possible that Ekuale won't miss any games as a result of the injury.

The Browns don't have many defensive tackles and if Ekuale would be out for the game against the New England Patriots, the Browns would probably sign someone to come in and improve the depth of the unit. Devaroe Lawrence can likely fill in at nose if needed, but the team would just need another body to help that group or they'd be moving defensive ends inside.

The injury occurred in the second half of the game by the sideline. Ekuale was taken out of the game and did not return. He finished with one solo tackle for the game. Ekuale is in his second year in the league, both with the Browns. This is the first year he's seen regular season snaps  as he spent all last season on the practice squad.

The Browns have the bye week and then have to play the New England Patriots in Foxboro to start the final ten games of their season.
