According to ABC-ESPN play by play commentator, Joe Buck, Cleveland Browns head coach, Kevin Stefanski believes that Amari Cooper will play against the Steelers on Monday Night Football. In an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show this afternoon, Buck said that Stefanski told them that he thinks Amari Cooper is going to play tonight.

This is contradictory to a post put out on X a day earlier by ESPN's Adam Schefter, saying that his sources told him that Cooper was unlikely to play. There have been multiple other posts on social media today by people who are also hearing contrasting views on his availability for tonight's game.

It will probably be determined by a pregame workout and whether Cooper and the team feel like he can perform at a high level and tolerate any pain. He played injured down the stretch last season with a groin injury. He was able to produce in games but it was obvious the injury impacted his athletic ability.

The best news about all of this would be that despite whatever is decided this evening, the injury doesn't appear to be serious. Him playing could also jeopardize that should he aggravate to any further. Cooper should also consider that there is little need for him to play hurt compared to last year. This year's Browns are much more talented at the position than last season.

Be sure to keep it here for the latest and we should know more information as we get closer to kickoff.
