Watch: Deshaun Watson Practices For A Second Consecutive Day

The Browns quarterback was limited at practice on Thursday, and was back on the field throwing during Friday's session

It's been a whirlwind four weeks trying to dissect the Deshaun Watson shoulder injury, but finally, the Browns seem to be getting some clarity.

For the second consecutive day, Watson was seen at practice throwing the football, a sign that the 28-year-old signal caller is trending towards a potential return to action.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski declared Watson a "full participant" for Friday's practice, after being limited one day prior. Despite the positive developments of the last two days, it's still unclear if Watson will play this weekend against Indianapolis Colts.  The team is listing him as questionable for Sunday.

“I want to see how his body responds over the next 48 hours, but he looked good today,” Stefanski said following the team's Friday session.

Earlier in the week, Watson told reporters he was hopeful he'd be ready to go in time for this weekend, but also called the situation "up in the air." As the week of practice concludes, it appears that things are trending in the right direction.

Over the course of the last couple weeks, the injury was most notably described as a shoulder contusion, and later a bruised rotator cuff. Watson explained this week that he was dealing with several "micro-tears" on the effected muscle.

The former Texans quarterback first sustained the injury during the team's Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans. In the aftermath, neither the team or Watson himself seemed to believe the injury was all that serious and he was anticipating playing against the Ravens that very next week.

As more-and-more discovery came to light about the injury, it became evident that this was going to be a multi-week issue for the Browns starter. If Watson suits up on Sunday, it will be his first time playing football in 28 days.
