The Browns season ended Saturday in Houston with a 45-14 loss to the Texans in the Wild Card Round.

Now, the Browns will shift their focus to the offseason — and the NFL Draft, which takes place on April 25-27.

The Browns own seven picks in the 2024 draft, but they still don’t own a first-round pick as part of their trade for Deshaun Watson from the Texans in 2022. This is the final year the Browns won’t own a first-round pick as part of the trade, which sent three totals first-round picks and other draft capital to Houston.

Here is where the Browns currently own picks in 2024:

  • Round 2
  • Round 3
  • Round 5 (From CAR)
  • Round 5
  • Round 6 (From HOU)
  • Round 6 (From BAL)
  • Round 7 (From ATL)

How Many Draft Picks Do The Browns Have In 2024?

The Browns have seven picks in the 2024 draft.

That’s the same amount of picks the Browns had in 2023 and two less picks than what they had in 2022. This will be general managers Andrew Berry’s fifth draft with the Browns since becoming the GM in 2020.

What Are The Browns’ Draft Needs?

The Browns could look to bolster their defensive tackle and wide receiver positions in the draft. Wide receiver, in particular, could be a position to watch with the 2024 draft class expected to be one of the deepest receiving groups in recent memory.

Cleveland could also have a need for MIKE linebacker with Anthony Walker Jr. set to become a free agent. They might also opt to spend draft capital at left tackle with Jedrick Wills Jr. set to enter the final year of his rookie contract.
