Cardinals Named Best Landing Spot for WR

The Arizona Cardinals would be a great destination for DJ Chark.

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals need more viable bodies in the WR room, and Pro Football Focus has the perfect candidate.

In their recent article going through best landing spots for the top 20 available free agents, PFF says the Cardinals are a prime destination for WR DJ Chark.

"Chark has struggled to separate at the intermediate and deep levels in recent years, and inopportune drops also plagued him a bit over the tail end of the 2023 campaign. That said, he still brings field-stretching ability and should be more productive in any other offense besides Carolina's," wrote PFF's Brad Spielberger.

The Cardinals lost Marquise Brown via free agency while they traded away Rondale Moore to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for quarterback Desmond Ridder. At this moment, the Cardinals tout Michael Wilson and Greg Dortch at the top of their depth chart.

Chark - who turns 28 in September - first entered the league as a second-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. He spent four years with the Jacksonville Jaguars before playing on one-year deals with the Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers, respectively. Chark has one 1,000-yard season to his name.

The Cardinals did add Chris Moore in free agency, though he's not expected to move the needle on his fourth team in the past five seasons. Arizona is highly anticipated to select a receiver in the early stages of the 2024 NFL Draft, where they possess a bevy of picks including six in the first three rounds.
