These Cardinals Are Still Free Agents

The Arizona Cardinals still have 11 players from 2023 that have yet to sign somewhere.

ARIZONA -- The storm of free agency has calmed down, and as expected, the Arizona Cardinals saw plenty of movement both coming and going out of the facility.

Year two of Monti Ossenfort's rebuilding efforts in the desert are fully underway, and the Cardinals managed to plug numerous gaps on the defensive side of the ball while waving goodbye to some notable names on offense.

With the 2024 NFL Draft rapidly approaching later this month, the Cardinals still have a handful of familiar faces out in the open market:

TE Geoff Swaim

Snaps - 29.7%
Age: 31
Current APY: $1.7 million

Swaim was utilized nicely as a secondary option behind Trey McBride last season. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him back with the organization considering his run-blocking abilities.

DL Carlos Watkins

Age: 31
Current APY: $1.67 million

Watkins didn't get to show much after having biceps surgery early in the season.

Antonio Hamilton

When Marco Wilson was cut, Hamilton was CB1 for a Cardinals secondary that featured three rookies rotating with him. It's unknown if he'll return after Arizona signed Sean Murphy-Bunting.

Josh Woods

Woods mostly featured as a starter next to Kyzir White at ILB, though it appears new signing Mack Wilson is now filling that void.

Rashad Fenton
