Cardinals Hosting Draft's 'Best Kept Secret'

The Arizona Cardinals will privately meet with one of the draft's best kept secrets.

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals are meeting with offensive tackle prospect Giovanni Manu - also referred to as one of the draft's best-kept secrets - for a private workout according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

From Twitter/X:

"Things are picking up in a big way for BIG man Giovanni Manu, the former hoops star turned left tackle rising up draft boards. I’m told Manu has 30 visits with: Cowboys, Giants, Jets, Pats, Browns, Bengals, Colts, Lions, Packers, Chiefs, Broncos. Manu also has an upcoming private workout with the #AZCardinals."

More on Manu from Schultz:

"The best kept secret in the NFL Draft is Tongan OT Giovanni Manu, who checks in at a freakish 6.073, 352lbs. Manu ran 4.96 at his Pro Day, which featured half the league in attendance. He also verted 33.5 inches."

Manu is a mammoth offensive tackle prospect that tested extremely well after playing at the University of British Columbia and is certainly an interesting prospect to keep an eye on. Manu's draft stock is currently unknown but the interest from several NFL teams is prominent.

Arizona's need for an offensive tackle dropped after the Cardinals awarded Jonah Williams a hefty contract in the offseason, though the team could still look to find a suitable replacement for the future with any of their eleven picks in 2024.
