Cardinals Hosting Louisville CB on Draft Visit

The Arizona Cardinals could again add another Louisville Cardinal to the mix in the NFL Draft.

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals seem to like themselves some Louisville Cardinals.

In the 2023 NFL Draft, the Cardinals added Louisville CB Kei'Trel Clark as a Day 3 pick, who managed to contribute significantly in his rookie season.

We could again see another Cardinal defensive back added to the room.

Per The Draft Network's Justin Melo, Louisville DB Jarvis Brownlee Jr. has an official Top 30 visit with the Cardinals coming this draft process.

"I will be visiting Nashville for a meeting with the Tennessee Titans. I previously visited the Miami Dolphins. I have meetings with the Arizona Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts coming up as well. I have a few more lined up," said Brownlee.

"I’m going to make an unbelievable impact at the next level. That’s all I can say. Whatever team drafts me is going to get a great guy. I love the game of football. I play with a chip on my shoulder.

"I’m a team-first guy. I even love playing special teams. I’m going to find my best fit and apply myself. Whichever team drafts me is going to get a dog. I’m aggressive. I play with toughness around the ball.

"Get ready for the show."

The Cardinals relied on three rookie defensive backs last year in Clark, Garrett Williams and Starling Thomas V. Arizona added Sean Murphy-Bunting in free agency this offseason and hold six picks in the first three rounds of the draft.

More from NFL.com's profile on Brownlee Jr.:

"Aggressive press cornerback with average size but above-average competitive fire. Scouts say Brownlee made a point of working hard on his body and his approach to improve his chances on the next level, and he did just that. He's extremely rugged and physical over the first 5 yards to disrupt route timing and can close the catch window if he's in position. Brownlee is just average as the route expands in man and could be prone to penalties and allowing explosive plays down the field. There is no lack of toughness in his run support, and he's an easy fit on special teams. Brownlee could have teams targeting him on Day 3 as a nickel defender with the potential to bump outside."

The Cardinals have reportedly held visits with USC WR Brenden Rice, Texas Tech CB Rayshad Williams, Auburn CB Nehemiah Pritchett, Washington RB Dillon Johnson, Texas WR Xavier Worthy, Arizona WR Jacob Cowing and NC State OL Dylan McMahon.
