Cardinals Hosting Auburn CB for Draft Visit

The Arizona Cardinals now have a confirmed third Top 30 NFL Draft visit.

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals have added a third name to their list of Top 30 visits for the 2024 NFL Draft.

Joining Washington RB Dillon Johnson and USC WR Brenden Rice, Auburn CB Nehemiah Pritchett is being hosted by the Cardinals according to The Draft Network's Justin Melo.

"Sources: Auburn CB Nehemiah Pritchett has an upcoming Top 30 visit with the Arizona Cardinals. More on the way. Pritchett ran a blazing-fast 4.36 40 with a 1.76 10-yard split. Stood out at @SeniorBowl as well," wrote Melo on Twitter/X.

The Cardinals are heavy favorites to add to their cornerback room in either free agency or the draft. Arizona has over $50 million in cap space to spend on veterans while one of their six picks in the first three rounds could be utilized at the position.

Last year, Arizona relied on a heavy rookie rotation of Garrett Williams, Kei'Trel Clark and Starling Thomas at the position alongside Antonio Hamilton and Marco Wilson (before his release).

Pritchett has the size and speed to compete at the next level - here's his official bio from Auburn:

"Returning starter at cornerback … 113 career tackles … did not play vs. UMass, Cal or Samford due to injury … saw first action of season at Texas A&M … 2 solo stops vs LSU … 4 tackles vs. Ole Miss … 3 solo tackles vs. Mississippi State … 33-yard interception at Vanderbilt … 5 tackles, TFL against New Mexico State … 4 tackles, PBU against Alabama … Reese’s Senior Bowl invitation … all-SEC (CFN hm)."
