Chargers News: Bolts Alohi Gilman Recreates Viral Meme to Celebrate Being Re-Signed

The young safety is happy to be back in powder blue!

The Los Angeles Chargers are bringing back their young safety, Alohi Gilman. Gilman and the Chargers agreed to a two-year, $11 million deal. He was brought back after a solid year in 2023 and will look to continue to grow with the new regime.

The Chargers are happy to have him back, and so is Giolma, so much so that he immediately took to Instagram to express his happiness.

The 26-year-old recreated the popular social media challenge of people listening to Fleetwood Mac's "Dream" while skateboarding and drinking cranberry juice.

Gilma did his best to emulate the challenge but was missing the cranberry juice.

Nonetheless, it was clear that he was happy to be back in powder blue. The Bolts drafted Gilman in the 2020 NFL draft with 186 pick in the sixth round. The safety is coming off his best season as a pro; he collected 73 total tackles, two tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, two fumbles recovered, and two interceptions.

He has called Los Angeles home for the past four years and will continue to do so for the next two years. The young man is happy to be back, and the Chargers and their fans are also excited about it.
