Chargers News: Jim Harbaugh Praises Bolts Team, "They Want to Win"

The Chargers are here to win, for real this time.

The Los Angeles Chargers are here to win, for real this time. Head coach Jim Harbaugh has won everywhere he's gone, and many, including himself, expect him to do the same for the Bolts from here on out –because why not?

The Bolts have all the talent in the world to compete and beat any NFL team out there. Harbaugh wants to win, the team wants to win, and so do the fans.

In his introductory press conference, Harbaugh said players are ready to work and win at the highest level.

"That's been the feedback I've been getting within the communication with the players; they want to work. They can't wait to work, they're ready to work, and they want to win. Let's go."

(per Jim Harbaugh)

Winning. The Chargers haven't been used to that since arriving in Los Angeles. The Bolts only have two playoff appearances and one playoff win. One of those appearances ended in the worst way possible.

That was all before Harbaugh, though. This team, led by Harbaugh, will be tasked not only to make the playoffs but also to win playoff games, compete with the best of the NFL, and take home the Lombardi Trophy. It's all Harbaugh ever talks about, and anything short of that will be a disappointment.

The Chargers have yet to make a Super Bowl since 1995, so a deep playoff run may be celebrated among the fans, but not to Harbaugh. It's Lombardi or bust, and that's the way it should be.
